Bybit has opened registration for the 2026 World Series of Trading (WSOT), an annual trading competition running until December 2, 2026. This year's event features a prize pool of up to 10 million USDT, marking a shift from a crypto-exclusive contest to a multi-asset tournament.
The competition now includes categories for traditional assets such as equities, gold, oil, and various indices. This expansion signals Bybit’s strategic pivot toward becoming a comprehensive financial platform rather than a specialized crypto exchange.
A central addition to the 2026 format is the AI P&L Showdown, which evaluates performance based on trading strategies executed through AI tools. Participants can compete individually or in teams. The previous iteration of the event in 2025 attracted over 520,000 participants globally.
