Bybit Secures EU E-Money License to Expand European Services

Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit has broadened its service offerings in Europe after Bybit Payments GmbH secured an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license. The newly acquired license, issued in Austria, enables the Bybit.eu platform to provide regulated e-money and payment services in addition to its existing cryptocurrency-related services.

This licensing marks a significant step in Bybit's strategy to integrate traditional financial services with its cryptocurrency offerings within the European market. The expansion is expected to facilitate smoother transitions between fiat currencies and cryptocurrencies for users on the platform.
