BYD Adds "Flash Charge Luxury Edition" Plug-in Hybrid Densis D9
BYD Auto has launched a "Flash Charge Luxury Edition" of its second-generation Densis D9 plug-in hybrid model. The new variant debuted on July 17, priced at 329,800 yuan.
BYD Auto has introduced a new "Flash Charge Luxury Edition" variant to the second-generation Densis D9 plug-in hybrid lineup. The vehicle was officially launched on July 17 in China with a price tag of 329,800 yuan.
The new model expands the range of the second-generation Densis D9, which initially went on sale on April 27 with six available trims, priced between 359,800 and 459,800 yuan.
The "Flash Charge Luxury Edition" features a redesigned front grille and offers a spacious interior. The vehicle measures 5,250 mm in length, 1,960 mm in width, and 1,900 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,110 mm. The plug-in hybrid powertrain combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with a dual electric motor system, producing a combined 200 kW. Equipped with BYD's "Blade" battery technology, the model offers an electric-only range exceeding 400 kilometers under the CLTC standard. Fuel consumption is rated at 6.35 liters per 100 kilometers when the battery is depleted.
