BYD Fang Cheng Bao opens pre-orders for Formula S sedan models

BYD's new Fang Cheng Bao brand commenced pre-orders for its first sedan lineup on August 20, with prices ranging from RMB 230,000 to RMB 280,000.
The Formula S and Formula S GT models were unveiled globally at the 2026 Chengdu Auto Show on August 21. These new vehicles will be available in both single-motor and dual-motor configurations.
The single-motor version offers up to 300 kilowatts of power, while the dual-motor setup combines 190 kW and 300 kW. The cars are capable of reaching a top speed of 240 kilometers per hour.
The scheduled launch for these models is the third quarter. Fang Cheng Bao represents BYD's recent expansion into the performance and premium vehicle segment.
