BYD Fangchengbao Reveals Interior of New 6-Seater SUV

BYD Fangchengbao has revealed the interior of its upcoming Titanium 9 SUV. The vehicle, which had its global debut at the Chengdu International Auto Show, is slated for launch in China during the fourth quarter of this year. The new model is positioned as a large plug-in hybrid SUV.

The Titanium 9 features a six-seat layout with exterior dimensions measuring 5270mm in length, 1999mm in width, and 1850mm in height, on a wheelbase of 3130mm. The vehicle's tailgate adopts a split-opening design, and all trims offer a six-seat configuration with the third row capable of folding completely flat.

Structurally, the car utilizes a body-on-frame construction and is equipped with BYD's 'Cloud-P Ultra' intelligent hydraulic suspension system. All models come standard with a rear-wheel steering system, enhancing maneuverability in urban settings and light off-road conditions.

The powertrain combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with front and rear electric motors, utilizing BYD's DM-i hybrid technology. The system's total output is 400 kW (approximately 536 hp) with a battery capacity of 66.48 kWh. The vehicle's pure electric range under WLTC conditions is 310 km, and its combined range with a full tank and charge exceeds 1600 km.
