BYD's Fangchengbao brand has officially launched the new long-range version of its T7 DM hybrid SUV in China. The vehicle is available starting at 195,800 yuan (approximately $27,000 USD) and features an electric-only range of over 300 kilometers.
The T7 DM Long Range model comes in two variants: a two-wheel-drive Max version with a 315 km electric range and a 1470 km combined range, and a four-wheel-drive Ultra version with a 300 km electric range and a 1310 km combined range. The two-wheel-drive model is priced at 195,800 yuan, while the four-wheel-drive model costs 225,800 yuan.
This latest iteration includes several updates, such as a new "Cloud Night Purple" exterior color option, a Devialet audio system, a 2.29-square-meter panoramic roof, and a next-generation AI smart cockpit. The Fangchengbao T7 is known for its rugged, "boxy" SUV design, with unpainted plastic accents on the bumpers and side skirts enhancing its off-road aesthetic.
The launch of the long-range hybrid expands the T7 lineup, which previously included all-electric variants and earlier hybrid models. The initial hybrid T7 was released in September 2025 starting at 179,800 yuan, followed by the all-electric "Flash Charge" version in April 2026, with prices beginning at 199,800 yuan.
