The Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has released filing documentation for the all-electric version of the Denza N9, a model under the BYD umbrella. While the exterior design remains consistent with its plug-in hybrid counterpart, the vehicle introduces a high-performance electric powertrain.

The vehicle is equipped with three permanent magnet synchronous motors, utilizing a system that provides a combined peak output of 890 kW. The configuration includes a 270 kW motor at the front and two 310 kW motors at the rear. Power is supplied by a lithium iron phosphate battery pack manufactured by BYD’s battery division, Fudi.

Measuring 5,270 mm in length with a 3,125 mm wheelbase, the N9 EV maintains the footprint of the hybrid version. Standard features include a roof-mounted LiDAR unit for advanced driver-assistance systems and 22-inch forged wheels. The vehicle has a top speed of 240 km/h, positioning it in the high-performance segment of the large electric SUV market.
