BYD Launches 2027 Seal 06 Sedan Starting at 99,900 Yuan

Chinese automaker BYD Auto has officially launched the 2027 model year of its Seal 06 sedan. The car is priced starting at 99,900 yuan (approximately $13,750 USD), positioning it competitively within its segment.
The new Seal 06 model introduces the "Tengshezhiyan" (Heavenly Eye) L2+ driving assistance system, which incorporates LiDAR technology for enhanced sensing capabilities. The lineup includes both all-electric (EV) and plug-in hybrid (DM-i) versions. The EV variant boasts a CLTC range of up to 630 km, while the DM-i hybrid model offers a 320 km electric range and a combined total range of up to 2370 km on a full charge and fuel tank.
Further enhancing the vehicle's performance is the "Cloud-C" intelligent damping body control system, featuring road scanning capabilities for a smoother ride over bumps and reduced body roll during cornering. Safety is a key focus, with the car equipped with seven standard airbags and over 21 active safety features.
With dimensions measuring 4870x1890x1495 mm and a wheelbase of 2820 mm, the Seal 06 also features a 15.6-inch central infotainment screen and a Head-Up Display (HUD). BYD aims to solidify its presence in the competitive sedan market in China with this latest offering, balancing technology, range, and value.
