BYD Launches Da Han Flagship Electric Sedan in China
BYD has introduced its new Da Han flagship electric sedan in China, with prices starting at RMB 235,900. The vehicle offers a claimed range of up to 1,008 kilometers on a single charge.
Automaker BYD launched its Da Han flagship electric sedan in China on October 13. The new model is available in three variants, with prices ranging from RMB 235,900 to RMB 275,900.
The rear-wheel-drive versions boast a claimed driving range of 1,008 kilometers under China's CLTC testing cycle. The all-wheel-drive model is rated for 880 kilometers. The large executive sedan measures 5,256 millimeters in length with a wheelbase of 3,130 millimeters.
Standard features include rear-wheel steering, BYD's DiSus-A dual-chamber air suspension, and the lidar-equipped God’s Eye B driver-assistance system. The Da Han utilizes BYD's second-generation Blade Battery technology and flash-charging capabilities, which the company states can charge the battery from 10% to 97% in just nine minutes.
The top-tier all-wheel-drive version can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.3 seconds. This launch intensifies competition in China's rapidly growing electric vehicle market, where BYD holds a significant position.
