Chinese automaker BYD delivered 463,561 vehicles in September, reinforcing its leading market position. SAIC Group followed in second place with 406,000 deliveries, and Chery Group secured third with 292,308 vehicles.

Among the top performers, BYD, SAIC, and Chery all surpassed 200,000 deliveries for the month. Leapmotor stood out with significant year-over-year growth, delivering 105,656 vehicles, a 58.51% increase.

New entrants are also making their mark. Xiaomi reported over 40,000 vehicle deliveries in September, with its new "Pengcheng" model exceeding 10,000 deliveries in its first month. "Wei Xiao Li" brands—NIO, XPeng, and Li Auto—reported monthly deliveries of 37,408, 41,256, and 31,817 units, respectively.

The report details September delivery figures for various Chinese and international manufacturers. BYD's total sales reached 463,561 units, a 16.98% year-over-year increase. SAIC's sales saw a 7.68% decrease, though its year-to-date cumulative sales positioned it as the leader in China's auto industry. Chery Group announced a 14.37% annual growth rate.

These figures highlight the dynamic nature of China's automotive sector, with established players competing against rapidly expanding new brands. The electric vehicle (EV) segment, in particular, is intensifying competition, requiring manufacturers to adapt to evolving market demands and consumer preferences.
