BYD has reached a milestone by inaugurating its 10,000th fast charging station, now operational across 332 cities in China. This expansion aims to make charging as accessible as finding a gas station.

In major Chinese cities like Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Chongqing, BYD fast charging stations are now situated approximately every 3 kilometers. Coverage in smaller cities is also robust, with stations available within an average radius of 4 kilometers. The company reports over 1.83 million users on its charging network, with nearly a third operating vehicles from other brands.

In less than six months of operation, BYD's fast charging stations have delivered over 210 million kilowatt-hours of electricity. One charging point has recorded up to 2983 kWh of charging and served 54 vehicles in a single day. The company is collaborating with major energy providers, including Sinopec and Shell, to further expand its charging infrastructure.
