Chinese automaker BYD recorded 483,125 passenger vehicle sales in October 2026, bringing its cumulative year-to-date sales to 3,561,669 units. The results indicate a 10.6% growth in monthly sales compared to the same period last year.
The company’s performance was driven primarily by its high-volume lines, Ocean and Dynasty. The Ocean series led the monthly figures with 210,909 units sold, followed closely by the Dynasty series, which contributed 203,040 units. Within the Dynasty lineup, the Yuan model was the standout performer, accounting for 99,456 of the total sales.
Specialized segments also contributed to the monthly tally, with the Fang Cheng Bao brand moving 43,872 units. The Denza lineup recorded 15,152 sales, while the high-end Yangwang brand accounted for 258 units during the month.
The steady sales figures highlight BYD's ongoing expansion in the competitive electric vehicle market, as the company continues to scale production across multiple sub-brands.
