BYD has unveiled official images of new color options for its 2027 Seal 06 model. The first display cars have arrived at dealerships across China.
Chinese automaker BYD has released official images showcasing new color options for its upcoming 2027 Seal 06 model. The initial batch of display vehicles has reached over 300 dealerships in 118 cities nationwide, allowing potential customers to view the refreshed sedan.
The 2027 BYD Seal 06 is positioned as a "fully equipped B-segment family sedan." While the overall design largely mirrors the current model, subtle adjustments have been made to specific details. The front fascia has been simplified, and the design of the贯穿式 (continuous) taillights has been revised. The inclusion of a LiDAR sensor on the roof suggests the integration of advanced driver-assistance systems, potentially enabling more sophisticated autonomous driving features.
For context, the Seal 06 EV launched in June last year with a price range of 109,800 to 129,800 yuan. It measures 4,720mm in length, 1,880mm in width, and 1,495mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,820mm. The electric vehicle features the "Sky Eye C" driver assistance system, supporting highway piloting assistance and parking support functions. Powertrain options include a rear-mounted single electric motor with a maximum output of either 110 kW or 160 kW.
