BYD has unveiled the Yangwang Dingyao, a new luxury executive sedan, during a showcase in Abu Dhabi. This move marks the latest expansion effort for the Chinese automaker's premium Yangwang sub-brand as it targets international luxury segments.
The vehicle features a distinctive suicide door design, offering a nearly 90-degree opening angle intended to provide easier cabin access. The front exterior is defined by a grid pattern composed of light-refracting elements that shift based on viewing angles.
By introducing the Yangwang Dingyao to the Middle Eastern market, BYD aims to compete with established global luxury manufacturers.
