CACI secures $185 million U.S. Army contract for expeditionary power systems
CACI International has received a five-year task order from the U.S. Army to develop and support expeditionary energy systems for mission readiness.

Reston-based CACI International will support the U.S. Army’s Program Manager Expeditionary Energy and Sustainment Systems (PM E2S2) under a new five-year task order. The contract, valued at up to $185 million, focuses on enhancing power infrastructure and sustainment capabilities for military operations.
Under the agreement, CACI is tasked with the development and deployment of energy technologies designed to improve field mission readiness. This involves integrating portable power solutions that allow personnel to operate in diverse environments while maintaining communication and operational efficiency.
The contract follows a trend of federal investment in modernizing energy logistics for remote deployments. By optimizing power systems, the Army intends to reduce dependency on traditional fuel supply lines, which are often vulnerable in expeditionary contexts.
CACI will carry out the work as part of its ongoing efforts to provide digital and hardware solutions to federal defense clients. The firm expects to utilize its existing engineering and program management infrastructure to fulfill the requirements of this multi-year task order.
