Cadient Launches AI Capability to Connect Hiring Data

Cadient has introduced the Cadient Talent MCP Server, a new capability aimed at providing employers with improved access to candidate data. This new feature allows AI assistants and internal large language models (LLMs) to connect directly with the Cadient platform.

The technology utilizes the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard that enables AI applications to interface with external systems and data. This allows employers to use supported AI environments to access information within Cadient, moving beyond traditional dashboards or proprietary AI assistants.

The launch follows Cadient's recent Authenticity Report, which indicated that AI-generated content is appearing in a significant percentage of resumes, ranging from 50% to 71%. The company suggests that its new capability helps employers gain a more comprehensive understanding of candidates, even when their applications are AI-assisted.

Cadient emphasizes the importance of secure and controlled data access in an increasingly AI-driven hiring landscape. "The objective is never to let AI make the final hire, but to securely put the best intelligence directly into the hands of the human decision-makers," stated Prateek Shrivastava, CTO of Cadient.

The Cadient Talent MCP Server is now live in production, initially offering read-only capabilities. Authorized users can query applicant and recruiting data through supported AI environments. Cadient plans to expand the server's functionality in the future to accommodate additional workflows and actions.
