Cadient Launches AI Talent Registry for Healthcare Employers
Cadient has introduced SmartRegistry™, an AI-powered talent registry designed to help healthcare employers proactively identify qualified clinicians before the recruitment process begins.

CADIENT, NEW YORK – July 16, 2026 – Cadient, a provider of AI-based hiring solutions, has launched SmartRegistry™, an AI-powered talent registry for the healthcare sector. The platform aims to assist hospitals and healthcare organizations in identifying qualified clinical talent more rapidly by continuously sourcing passive candidates and providing healthcare-specific hiring insights before recruiters engage.
The healthcare industry continues to face significant workforce shortages, with employers often competing for the same pool of actively seeking candidates. Recruitment teams frequently spend considerable time searching for qualified clinicians, only to find that many top prospects were not actively looking for new roles. Simultaneously, healthcare organizations must navigate complex compliance requirements while addressing critical staffing needs promptly.
SmartRegistry™ is designed to address these dual challenges. The platform analyzes an organization's open positions, uses AI to identify passive healthcare professionals, and evaluates their clinical fit. It also conducts pre-screening against federal exclusion lists, including the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General's List of Excluded Individuals and Entities (OIG LEIE) and SAM.gov, prior to recruiter outreach.
Bill Mastin, CEO of Cadient, stated that the core challenge is finding qualified clinicians before competitors do and equipping recruiters with better information for faster, more confident hiring decisions. "SmartRegistry™ helps organizations shift from reacting to applicants to proactively building qualified talent pipelines," Mastin said.
The new service is part of Cadient's SmartSuite™ and complements existing AI capabilities. SmartRegistry™ has been available since July 14, enabling healthcare organizations to accelerate hiring and improve the quality of their workforce.
