Calendly relaunches with new branding and AI features
Meeting software company Calendly has unveiled a new brand identity and is expanding its offerings with AI-powered tools for scheduling and note-taking.

Calendly, a company known for its meeting scheduling software, has launched a significant rebrand, introducing a new logo, wordmark, and color system designed by Smith & Diction. The move signals the company's expansion beyond its core scheduling function.
Alongside the rebranding, Calendly announced the expansion of its productivity suite to include an AI email assistant and an AI-powered meeting notetaker. These new tools aim to streamline the process of scheduling and managing meetings, addressing common user frustrations.
The company aims to shift its perception from primarily a scheduling link provider to a broader productivity platform. This rebranding addresses a challenge faced by many SaaS companies: their evolving capabilities, especially with AI, often outpace how consumers understand their brand.
"AI is changing the expectation for software," said Jamal Miller, Calendly's VP of brand and product marketing. "People no longer want a collection of isolated features; they want tools that understand context and can take action when they ask." The new brand identity is designed to convey clarity and seamlessness, moving away from the previous more vibrant and bold aesthetic.
The refreshed brand identity emphasizes simplicity and effortlessness, utilizing softer colors and organic shapes. This visual strategy aims to support Calendly's mission of "making space for what matters" by providing intuitive tools that free up users' time for more important tasks.
