The release involves 597,600 shares, with a total market value of approximately 690 million euros based on the company's closing price on August 17th.
These shares are allocated to 124 core employees within the company. The calculated value represents an average of over 5.57 million euros per employee, based on the share price of 1,156 yuan (approximately 140 euros) at the close of trading on August 17th.
In a separate announcement, Cambricon also revealed its 2026 restricted stock incentive plan. This plan involves granting 4 million shares to 944 eligible employees at an exercise price of 750 yuan per share. The total grant value is estimated at approximately 3 billion yuan, with an average of about 3.18 million yuan per recipient.
The company's financial performance in the first half of the year showed a net profit of 2.31 billion yuan, marking a significant increase of 122.61% compared to the previous year. Cambricon is a key player in China's rapidly growing AI hardware sector.
