The Canadian Wildlife Federation (CWF) has revealed the winning entries in its 2025 Reflections of Nature photography contest. The competition, which ran for three months, attracted 10,600 submissions, highlighting Canadians' connection to wildlife and habitat conservation.

"Nature photography is a powerful way to educate, inspire and connect Canadians to wildlife," stated CWF CEO Sean Southey. "I am truly amazed at the quality and diversity of entries and the enthusiasm of participants. These incredible images showcase some of the many species and habitats that we are working together to conserve."

The Grand Prize was awarded to Steven Heipel of Toronto for his photograph titled "A Last Glance," capturing an Arctic Fox in its habitat. Other category winners included Jean-Christophe Lemay of Rimouski with "March of Shadows," Abby Keeler of Foothills with "A Quiet Crossing," John Meragias of Saint Laurent with "Moody Morning at Tombstone," and Glen Strickey of Charlottetown with "The Coastal Hunt."

Winning photographs will be featured in CWF's magazines and online platforms. The contest underscores the role of nature photography in promoting conservation efforts and engaging the public in protecting Canada's biodiversity.
