Canon Recognized as a Top Employer in Germany for Fifth Consecutive Year
Canon has once again been certified as a Top Employer in Germany, marking the fifth consecutive year for the company. The recognition highlights strong performance in ethics, values, and leadership.
Canon has been recognized as a Top Employer in Germany for the fifth consecutive year, according to the latest rankings released in February 2021. The company has maintained this certification since 2017.
In total, 147 companies were certified in Germany. Alongside the German designation, Canon's EMEA headquarters and operations in the United Kingdom, France, Italy, and Switzerland also received Top Employer certification.
The Top Employers Institute assesses companies globally based on their human resources strategies and practices. Canon achieved particularly high scores, including a perfect 100% in categories such as Ethics and Integrity, Values, and Leadership and Business Strategy. Employee Engagement also received full marks.
Canon attributes these achievements to its corporate philosophy of 'Kyosei,' which emphasizes living and working together for the common good. The company highlighted its commitment to employee well-being, especially during the challenging year of 2020, as a key factor in its sustained success.
