Canon has launched 12 new large-format printer models across its TM and TX series, introducing hardware improvements to precision and scanning efficiency.
Canon has announced a new generation of its imagePROGRAF large-format printing systems. The release includes 12 models across the TM and TX series, featuring updated image processing technology and a higher-density matte black ink designed to enhance the precision of technical lines and fine details.
The TM series is positioned for small to medium-sized enterprises in fields such as architecture and engineering. This release marks the integration of scanning capabilities directly into the compact printer housing, intended to streamline workflows for firms with limited office space. In contrast, the TX series targets larger enterprises and production environments, emphasizing output speed and security features for sensitive documents.
Canon noted that the new machines incorporate recycled plastics and iron, and the packaging has been redesigned to exclude expanded polystyrene. These printers support a broad range of professional tasks, including CAD drafting, GIS mapping, and retail signage.
