Canon is expected to launch new products in early September, according to a report citing Canon Rumors. The specific launch window is reportedly the second week of September, with the exact date potentially falling around September 10th, possibly to avoid holidays in the United States and Canada.
The anticipated highlight of this launch is the EOS R8 Mark II full-frame mirrorless camera. Sources indicate that the camera will adopt a retro-inspired design, which might lead to a modification of its final product name. Alongside the camera, one new lens is also expected to be introduced.
Canon may also unveil Cinema EOS products before the IBC international broadcast conference in Amsterdam later in September.
