Canon technology enhances Oschatz Visuelle Medien's large-format printing
Canon Germany's UVgel technology enables Oschatz Visuelle Medien to produce high-quality POS and backlit prints more efficiently.

Canon Germany's UVgel technology has significantly improved the quality and speed of Oschatz Visuelle Medien's large-format printing operations. The German company, specializing in large-format prints, has implemented a Colorado 1640 printer utilizing Canon's UVgel technology.
Oschatz Visuelle Medien leverages this technology primarily for the production of Point of Sale (POS) and backlit materials. Managing Director Joel Oschatz highlights that backlit materials, particularly those featuring skin tones in advertising, demand high resolution. Canon's UVgel technology meets these specifications while enabling faster production cycles.
"With the Colorado 1640, we produce the highest quality at maximum speed. This capability was not available to us before," Oschatz stated. He explained that previously, achieving high quality was time-consuming, leading to higher costs. The new technology allows for the efficient creation of superior prints.
Oschatz Visuelle Medien has established itself as a leading company in Germany within the specialized large-format printing market. Its business has expanded from serving local department stores to meeting the demanding requirements of industries like cosmetics, which necessitate precision and specialized material characteristics.
