Canon to Showcase New Video Products and 60 Years of Broadcast Innovation at IBC 2018

Canon is set to showcase its latest broadcast products and mark 60 years of industry innovation at the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) in Amsterdam from September 14-18. The company will feature new products such as the recently announced Canon CN-E20mm T1.5 L F wide-angle Cine Prime lens and the Canon EOS C700 FF cinema camera.

Visitors at the Canon stand (D60, Hall 12 RAI Exhibition and Congress Centre) can explore the range of Canon's 4K HDR broadcast lenses, designed to meet diverse production needs from sports to live events. The "Touch and Try" area will allow attendees to test Canon's Cinema EOS full-frame cameras, EF lenses, and compact XF and XA camcorders. Industry experts will be on hand to answer questions about product capabilities and evolving media standards.

Additionally, Canon will highlight its 4K/UHD HDR video camera series, offering ultra-sharp 3840 x 2160 pixel resolution for future HDR broadcasting. The company will also demonstrate its Cinema Raw Light format in a dedicated workflow section. This 12-bit RAW recording capability enables high-quality internal capture with Canon's Cinema EOS cameras.

Canon Professional Services (CPS) will also be present, offering expert advice, equipment maintenance, and exclusive member offers to attendees.
