Canton Fair Launches Buyers Alliance at 140th Edition Opening

The Canton Fair, a major international trade event, officially launched its Buyers Alliance on October 15, coinciding with the opening of its 140th session in Guangzhou.
The Canton Fair Buyers Alliance brings together over 140 foreign buyers from 32 countries and regions across five continents. The alliance is primarily aimed at Fortune Global 500 companies, buyers from the world's top 250 retailers, and leading sourcing companies.
The organization's objective is to offer members a platform for exchanging information and coordinating resources. Member benefits are expected to cover services, events, resources, and information access. The Canton Fair, now in its 70th year, continues to serve as a critical bridge for global trade and China's export sector.
This alliance represents a significant service innovation for the fair. Luís Vilariça, CEO of Joinco, Import & Export, Ltd., highlighted his company's long-standing relationship with the event and its role in fostering international business development during the launch ceremony.
