Cap-XX and Schurter Announce Technology Cooperation Agreement

Electronics component manufacturer Schurter Group and Australian supercapacitor specialist Cap-XX have announced a strategic technology cooperation agreement. The partnership aims to strengthen the market position of both companies by leveraging synergies across research, development, manufacturing, and sales.

The collaboration will focus on energy storage technologies, with provisions for future expansion into additional areas as mutually agreed. The agreement structures cooperation into smaller projects and idea exchanges, handled under the main agreement, and larger strategic initiatives requiring separate sub-agreements detailing financing, project management, and intellectual property.

Schurter will provide its "Schurter Innovation Platform" to facilitate idea sharing and technology roadmap development. The partnership combines Cap-XX's expertise in advanced energy storage solutions with Schurter's leadership in electronic components and HMI.

Cap-XX CEO Lars Stegmann stated the agreement presents an opportunity to accelerate innovation in energy storage solutions. Schurter CEO Lars Brickenkamp noted the collaboration aligns with the company's commitment to technology-driven innovation for an all-electric and connected future.
