CapGrid Raises $5.2 Million to Expand Manufacturing Operations
India-based B2B manufacturing platform CapGrid has secured 50 crore rupees in funding to move into drone production and data center components.

Delhi NCR-based manufacturing startup CapGrid has closed a 50 crore rupee (approximately $5.2 million) Pre-Series B funding round. The investment, led by Hero Enterprise Venture Partners, values the company at 430 crore rupees. Participants in the round included Axilor Ventures, Anicut Capital, and Nexus Venture Partners.
CapGrid operates a cloud-based platform that coordinates component design and production through a network of third-party suppliers rather than owning its own factories. The company uses AI-driven logistics to manage supply chains for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). CEO Dheeraj Tiwari stated that the newly raised capital will support R&D into high-end precision engineered components.
Having historically focused on the automotive sector, CapGrid is now pivoting toward the drone manufacturing and data center industries. The company reported revenue of 240 crore rupees in the 2026 fiscal year and has set a target of 350 crore rupees for 2027. The company's future growth rests on its ability to transition from simple capacity consolidation to managing more complex engineering and product development requirements.
