Capital Group Appoints New Chief Information Officer
Guillermo Veiga will join Capital Group as Chief Information Officer in November. He is relocating from his previous role at Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore.
Los Angeles, August 26, 2026 – Capital Group announced the appointment of Guillermo Veiga as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO). Veiga is scheduled to start in his new role in November.
Veiga joins Capital Group from Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore, where he held a similar position. His responsibilities at Capital Group will include overseeing the company's global technology infrastructure and information systems.
The appointment aligns with Capital Group's ongoing efforts to bolster its technological capabilities and ensure the efficiency and security of its systems within the investment management sector.
