Capitol Securities Appoints Joe Malave and Katy Carrigan to Sarasota Office

Capitol Securities Management has announced the hiring of Joe Malave as Vice President of Investments and Managing Director. Malave brings over 30 years of experience in the financial services sector to the firm. Joining him in the Sarasota, Florida office is Katy Carrigan, who will also focus on wealth management services.

The addition of these professionals is intended to bolster the firm’s local presence and service capacity within the Optimal Wealth Management division. The move follows a broader industry trend of wealth management firms consolidating senior talent to manage complex client portfolios.

This personnel expansion took effect in November 2026. The firm continues to operate out of its Sarasota location, providing investment advisory services to its client base.
