Captain D's Expands European Franchise Search, Introduces New US Design
Fast-casual seafood chain Captain D's is actively seeking franchise partners across Europe, including Italy, Spain, and the UK. The company is also rolling out a new restaurant design domestically.
Captain's, a US-based fast-casual seafood franchise, is intensifying its international growth efforts by seeking franchise partners in Europe. Senior Vice President of International Operations and Development, Hair Parra, is scheduled to visit Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom in October to meet with prospective franchisees and explore market opportunities.
The company reports significant interest from Italy and is in discussions with potential partners. Spain, particularly Madrid and Valencia, along with Poland and France, are also considered key markets for expansion. "Every time we travel internationally, we come home with more conversations and more new relationships," Parra stated.
Domestically, Captain's is introducing a new restaurant design, first unveiled in San Antonio, Texas. This refreshed concept features a contemporary aesthetic and an enhanced guest environment, while maintaining brand recognition. The company plans to implement this new design in additional U.S. markets.
Captain's is looking for experienced restaurant operators and multi-unit franchisees interested in international development. The expansion into Europe coincides with the brand's ongoing U.S. growth and its strategy to evolve the customer experience.
