DUBLIN, Ohio – Cardinal Health announced on October 1, 2026, that it has entered into a binding Letter of Intent to extend its current pharmaceutical distribution agreement with CVS Health. The agreement is set to run through June 30, 2032, and will continue the current scope of distribution services provided.
The extension solidifies Cardinal Health's ongoing role as a key distributor of pharmaceuticals and specialty products. Cardinal Health CEO Jason Hollar stated that the company values its long-standing partnership with CVS Health and looks forward to its continuation.
In conjunction with the renewal, Cardinal Health reaffirmed its financial guidance for fiscal year 2027. The company anticipates non-GAAP earnings per share to grow between 13% and 15%, translating to an EPS range of $12.40 to $12.60. Furthermore, Cardinal Health maintained its long-term non-GAAP EPS growth rate guidance of 12% to 14%.
