Cards Against Humanity Plans Monument to Annoy Elon Musk
The game company Cards Against Humanity has announced plans to build a monument on its land in Texas, which borders Elon Musk's SpaceX Starbase.

Cards Against Humanity has revealed plans to construct a monument on a parcel of land it owns in Texas, adjacent to Elon Musk's SpaceX Starbase, a community and launchpad for the company's rockets. The company originally purchased the land nine years ago, partly to thwart plans for the U.S.-Mexico border wall.
Two years ago, Cards Against Humanity discovered that SpaceX's Starbase construction had damaged their land. After a legal dispute, the company stated that Musk's firm admitted to the damage. Now, Cards Against Humanity is inviting the public to contribute $10 to a "Elon Musk Is a Sad Little Bitch With No Friends Monument Design Committee."
The company's stated goal is to create something that will "annoy Elon Musk" and cause him to briefly question himself. "We still have our rights as proud Texas landowners. We can build something on our land. Something that will annoy Elon Musk," the company said in a blog post.
The Starbase development has faced other criticisms. The community, which includes a street named Meme Street, has reportedly restricted access for non-SpaceX residents. Concerns have also been raised regarding safety during SpaceX rocket tests, and existing Texas residents have sued SpaceX over property damage attributed to sonic booms from rocket launches.
