CareClix Completes SOC 2 Type I Audit
Telemedicine provider CareClix announced it has received SOC 2 Type I certification, confirming its adherence to security and availability standards.

Telemedicine company CareClix announced on December 6, 2019, that it has successfully completed its Service Organization Control 2 (SOC 2) Type I audit, effective November 4th, 2019. The audit was conducted by Schellman & Company, LLC.
The report confirms that CareClix meets the SOC 2 standards for the security and availability trust services principles with no exceptions. This certification validates the company's internal controls related to the AICPA's policies on security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy of data.
Josh Flood, President of CareClix, stated that security and compliance are paramount in the growing telemedicine industry. He emphasized that the company's stringent control over security is critical for all its clients, ranging from large pharmaceutical companies to corrections health care systems and multinational corporations.
CareClix, which is also HIPAA and HITECH compliant, will perform the SOC 2 Type I audit annually. The report can be made available to current or potential customers upon execution of a non-disclosure agreement.
