Carlsbad Oceanfront Property Sells for Record $13.75 Million

Pacific Sotheby's International Realty has announced the sale of 5067 Shore Drive in Carlsbad for $13.75 million, setting a record for the city's highest-priced oceanfront residential transaction in 2026. K. Ann Brizolis of Brizolis Janzen & Associates represented the seller in the deal.

The four-bedroom, four-bath residence is situated in a secluded coastal enclave within North County San Diego. It features 65 feet of direct ocean frontage and unobstructed Pacific views through floor-to-ceiling windows.

Properties directly on the oceanfront are scarce in Carlsbad. Their value is influenced by factors such as the amount of frontage, privacy, clear views, and the limited availability of buildable coastal land. The sale price indicates a persistent demand for unique properties offering significant coastal access.

Brizolis Janzen & Associates, with over 30 years in the real estate industry and more than $3.5 billion in career sales, is known for its service in San Diego County. Martha Mosier, President of Pacific Sotheby's International Realty, stated that the transaction represents "skilled negotiation and an unwavering commitment by K. Ann, Jennifer and their team to the client's best interests."
