CARPL.ai raises $10 Mn to expand AI medical imaging marketplace
AI-powered healthtech startup CARPL.ai has secured $10 million in its Series A funding round. The capital will support product development and global expansion.
Healthtech startup CARPL.ai, which specializes in AI for medical imaging, has raised $10 million in its Series A funding round. The round was led by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the World Bank Group's private sector investment arm.
CARPL.ai plans to use the newly acquired capital to enhance its product development efforts and expand its sales and delivery teams internationally. A portion of the funds will also be allocated to strengthening the company's technology infrastructure.
The company offers a SaaS platform that enables hospitals and radiologists to deploy, manage, and monitor multiple AI applications for medical imaging through a single software interface. CARPL.ai aims to streamline the integration process, which can be complex and costly when dealing with individual AI vendors.
Its marketplace allows healthcare providers to browse, test, and deploy AI models from various developers. CARPL.ai states it hosts over 300 AI applications from more than 100 vendors and currently serves 30 hospitals and medical centers across multiple continents.
