Cartera and Kigo Partner to Offer Personalized Retail Savings to 100M+ Loyalty Members

Cartera, a loyalty commerce platform owned by Rakuten, and Kigo, a subsidiary of Augeo, have announced a partnership to expand personalized retail savings opportunities. The collaboration is set to impact more than 100 million loyalty program members across Kigo's client base, which includes major brands in telecommunications, healthcare, financial services, and retail.

The agreement will integrate Cartera's network of merchant offers into Kigo's platform. This integration is designed to provide loyalty program members with relevant offers from brands they frequently patronize. For participating businesses, the partnership is expected to create a performance-based channel within established loyalty programs, backed by analytics to track transactions.

According to Kigo's President and Chief Product Officer Ben Straley, the combination of Cartera's extensive offer catalog and Kigo's personalization capabilities will enable more precise targeting of consumers nearing purchase decisions. "For brands, more precise targeting at that scale means more opportunity to drive return on their ad spend," Straley stated.

Marc Mazzone, General Manager of Cartera, commented that Kigo's personalization technology and client relationships offer Cartera's merchants direct access to engaged loyalty members. This strategic alignment aims to enhance customer engagement and increase lifetime value for brands by connecting them with ready-to-spend consumers within trusted loyalty environments.
