Cary Group Acquires Western AG Limited in Northern Ireland
Cary Group has acquired Western AG Limited, which operates as National Windscreens in Northern Ireland, completing its acquisition of National Windscreens consortium membership in the UK.
Cary Group has strengthened its market presence in the vehicle glass repair and replacement sector with the acquisition of Western AG Limited, trading as National Windscreens in Northern Ireland. This purchase concludes Cary Group's integration of the National Windscreens consortium's UK membership.
"We have invested significantly in the UK, having started the consolidation of the National Windscreens members seven years ago, and with this latest acquisition we are in a fantastic position to enhance further the service for our customers," stated Stuart Boon, Managing Director of Cary Group UK.
Western AG Limited, established 23 years ago, is a recognized provider of windscreen fitting services across Northern Ireland. The company's owners, Frazer Follis and Barry Loughran, will continue with the business. Loughran will maintain a connection through a multi-year supply agreement with his distribution company, ESG.
The United Kingdom represents Cary Group's second-largest market. The company's acquisition strategy focuses on platform acquisitions to enter new markets and add-on acquisitions to bolster existing presence. This latest move aligns with their broader goal of consolidating the fragmented European vehicle glass repair and replacement market.
