Cary Group Launches Initiatives to Promote Equality and Diversity
Cary Group, a provider of automotive glass repair and replacement, has announced new initiatives aimed at increasing gender equality and diversity within the company's workforce.

Cary Group, which specializes in automotive glass repair and replacement services, has introduced a series of new initiatives focused on improving gender equality and diversity in the workplace. These efforts are designed to foster a more inclusive work environment and to lower barriers for women entering traditionally male-dominated roles within the company.
The company has set a target to increase the number of female technicians from 31 to 57 by 2026, representing an 84% growth. This ambitious goal is supported by several ongoing programs and strategies.
A key initiative was the inaugural Female Technician Summit, held in Stockholm from August 28-29. The event brought together female technicians from Sweden and the UK to share knowledge, experiences, and discuss methods for attracting more women to careers at Cary Group. The summit also featured guest speakers from relevant industries.
Further initiatives include the development of CaryLEAD, the company's new leadership profile, and the integration of sustainability-linked loans tied to the company's environmental, social, and governance goals. Digital forums for managers in Sweden and the UK are scheduled for autumn 2024 to share best practices and highlight successful inclusion efforts.
