Cascade raises $3.5M to help construction firms find and win projects
Tech startup Cascade has secured $3.5 million in seed funding to build a platform for architecture, engineering, and construction firms. The company aims to help businesses identify and win new projects.

Cascade, a startup focused on the construction sector, has raised $3.5 million in seed funding led by Andreessen Horowitz Speedrun, with participation from Ada Ventures and Snowball VC. Founded in 2025, the company is developing a platform designed to assist architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) firms in finding and securing new projects.
The founders, Hannia Zia and Joana Ferreira, identified a significant challenge within the industry: the difficulty many construction businesses face in consistently acquiring work. They observed that firms, despite their expertise, often lack the necessary tools and systems to effectively identify and win new projects.
Cascade's platform addresses this need by aiming to streamline the project acquisition process. Historically, firms have had to navigate numerous disparate portals from state, city, county, and federal agencies to find opportunities. The startup's solution will track ongoing and upcoming projects, and leverage prior tender data to predict which developers are likely to win specific deals.
The overall goal of the platform is to provide AEC companies with better access to project information and data-driven insights, thereby enhancing their ability to compete and grow their businesses.
