Watchmaker Casio has launched its new CRW-H001 smart ring watch in China, with a retail price of 1999 yuan (approximately $275 USD). The device is available in three different sizes.
The CRW-H001 features a retro design, utilizing Metal Injection Molding (MIM) technology to replicate the complex styling of a Casio watch in a ring form factor. It includes a small LCD screen capable of displaying time, stopwatch, and alarm functions.
Smart functionalities encompass heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen level tracking, and body temperature measurement. The ring also tracks various activities such as running, cycling, and walking, providing insights into sleep recovery and training analysis. Users can log their daily caloric intake, similar to other smart rings on the market.
The device is powered by a rechargeable battery offering approximately six days of use on a full charge, with up to 25 days of standby time. The CRW-H001 follows Casio's previous ring watch models, including the CRW-001JB-9 and CRW-001-1.
