Casio releases new Casiotone CT-FS1 keyboard model

Casio has expanded its portable keyboard lineup with the introduction of the Casiotone CT-FS1. The device features integrated software designed to assist novice players in developing rhythm and timing skills by preventing the output of incorrect notes.

The keyboard includes 61 touch-responsive keys and is available in monochrome black or white finishes. Weighing just under 10 pounds, the unit can be powered by either AA batteries or a standard power adapter. It includes built-in stereo speakers and Bluetooth connectivity for external audio output.

Retailing at $399.99, the CT-FS1 competes in the entry-level musical instrument market. By focusing on technology that reduces the technical frustrations often associated with early-stage learning, Casio aims to differentiate its offering from standard entry-level keyboards.
