Casio is reportedly preparing to launch a new ring-shaped watch, model CRW-002, in November. The new device will succeed the existing CRW-001 model and is anticipated to be priced around $135.
The CRW series combines the retro aesthetic of Casio's digital watches with a ring form factor. The CRW-002 design draws inspiration from Casio's classic A168 metal digital watch, with the ring portion also referencing the A168 series' design and utilizing injection molding for its construction.
Functionality on the new watch includes dual time zones, a 60-minute stopwatch, LED backlight, calendar, and both 12-hour and 24-hour time formats. Additionally, it will feature a function called Time Flash, which will automatically flash the backlight on the hour or at user-defined times.
