Castrol Launches Castrol CORE Integrated Offering for Data Centre Thermal Management
Castrol has introduced Castrol CORE, an end-to-end thermal management offering for data centres, integrating cooling technology, testing, and lifecycle support.

Castrol has launched Castrol CORE, a new integrated offering for its data centre thermal management business, in response to growing demand for artificial intelligence and high-performance computing. The service aims to help clients manage increasingly complex cooling requirements from initial planning through to daily operations.
Castrol CORE represents a shift from the company's previous product-focused cooling business to a more integrated, service-oriented approach. It brings together product, infrastructure, design, and service partners, providing customers with a single point of contact across the value chain, thereby reducing the need to coordinate with multiple suppliers.
The new offering allows for earlier engagement in the development of data centre infrastructure. Castrol CORE adds new design capabilities to complement existing support for deployment, operation, and maintenance. This expansion is based on industry research by Castrol that indicated a rising demand for integrated thermal management solutions to simplify complexity.
At the heart of the offering are Castrol's cooling technologies, which have been tested and validated with leading chip and hardware manufacturers. The service is supported by Castrol's global technology and testing facilities, along with a service network spanning over 150 countries. This infrastructure facilitates continuous on-site testing and monitoring to help mitigate the risk of costly downtime.
Initially focusing on data centre cooling systems, Castrol CORE is intended to serve as a platform for future expansion of Castrol's thermal management offerings into other applications. The company has also established a regional data centre design team in the Asia-Pacific region to address local demand.
