Castrol launches CORE for integrated data center thermal management

Castrol has launched Castrol CORE, a new comprehensive solution for its data center thermal management business, designed to address the growing demands of artificial intelligence and high-performance computing. The offering combines cooling technology, testing, lifecycle support, and new design capabilities into an integrated service.

The initiative marks a transition from Castrol's current product-focused cooling model to an integrated, service-oriented approach. This consolidates a network of specialized partners across products, infrastructure, design, and services, providing customers with a single point of contact throughout the value chain instead of requiring coordination with multiple vendors.

Through Castrol CORE, Castrol will collaborate with clients earlier in the development phase of data center infrastructures. This responds to industry studies indicating a growing demand for integrated thermal management solutions to reduce complexity and address supply chain challenges. The offering leverages cooling technologies tested and validated with leading chip and hardware manufacturers, including NVIDIA and Intel, offering assurance for next-generation AI infrastructure needs.

Built on over 127 years of fluid formulation experience for mission-critical applications, Castrol CORE will initially focus on data center cooling systems, while providing a platform for future expansion into other applications.
