Catalyx launches OpenLine to automate manufacturing line integration
The new platform connects disparate machine vision systems, equipment, and enterprise software into a centralized, regulatory-compliant manufacturing control interface.

Catalyx has launched OpenLine, a platform designed to consolidate machine vision and production equipment under a single operational framework. The system aims to bridge the gap between various vendors' hardware and software that typically operate in silos, creating a unified flow of data and control across factory floors.
"Customers invest in systems that perform specific tasks but often lack interoperability, forcing teams to fill the gaps manually," said CEO Mario L. Rocci, Jr. By linking existing equipment with AI-driven inspection, OpenLine automates real-time decision-making and standardizes workflows. In a pilot application, a medical device manufacturer reportedly increased annual unit output significantly while maintaining strict quality metrics.
Designed for highly regulated sectors such as life sciences, the platform incorporates audit trails, electronic record security, and role-based access. These features are intended to satisfy GAMP 5, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and EU Annex 11 compliance requirements, which are often significant hurdles for manufacturers upgrading legacy lines.
The platform is now available for global deployment and supports integration with both on-site systems and cloud-based enterprise infrastructure.
