CATL and Quinbrook Advance Supernode Battery Project

Quinbrook's Supernode battery energy storage project has achieved commercial operation for its second stage and has finalized A$469 million in financing for its third stage. This development marks a significant step in the phased rollout of Australia's energy storage capabilities.

The project, spearheaded by Quinbrook, has successfully closed a substantial financing package for Stage 3. Coupled with the earlier $345 million financing secured for Stage 1 and the commencement of Stage 2 operations, this further solidifies the expansion of solar energy storage capacity in Australia.

The Supernode initiative integrates large-scale solar power generation with battery energy storage systems, utilizing CATL's battery technology. The collaboration between the companies aims to accelerate the energy transition, with the new financing enabling further expansion of the project's scope.
