Caverion acquires Danish automation company DI-Teknik A/S

Caverion Oyj announced on March 7, 2022, that it has acquired 80 percent of the shares in DI-Teknik A/S, a Danish company specializing in industrial automation. DI-Teknik is described as one of Denmark's largest automation firms, employing approximately 185 people and possessing over 25 years of experience.

The company provides a full range of services in industrial automation, IT, and electrification, including design, programming, installation, and maintenance. DI-Teknik reported a revenue of EUR 27.8 million for the 2020/21 financial year, with automation constituting the majority of its business. The transaction price was not disclosed.

Rasmus Thygesen, CEO of DI-Teknik, stated that Caverion's size and nationwide presence offer significant benefits for business development. He anticipates scaling up the automation offerings not only in Denmark but also internationally across Caverion's operations.

Carsten Sørensen, Head of Caverion Denmark, highlighted that the acquisition brings new expertise in industrial automation to Caverion's Danish operations. This move provides access to significant growth areas in the Danish market, including pharmaceuticals, life sciences, food and ingredients, and general process industries. It also enhances Caverion's capacity to deliver smart, digital, and sustainable solutions to the industrial sector beyond Denmark.
