Caverion Acquires Simex Klima & Kulde AS in Norway
Caverion Oyj has acquired Simex Klima & Kulde AS in Norway, a provider of technical installations for indoor climate and cooling systems. The acquisition strengthens Caverion's service capacity in the Stavanger region.
Caverion Oyj has signed an agreement to acquire Simex Klima & Kulde AS in Norway, the company announced in September 2022. The acquisition aims to strengthen Caverion's service capacity and market position in the Stavanger region.
Simex Klima & Kulde specializes in technical installations of indoor climate, cooling, and heat pump systems for commercial buildings. In 2021, the company reported revenue of EUR 4.0 million and employed 25 people. The transaction was expected to close in October 2022.
The acquisition is intended to address the growing demand for indoor climate, cooling, and heat pump services in the region. Caverion stated that the acquired company's customers and employees will benefit from its broader service offering and expertise. The purchase price was not disclosed.
Following the acquisition, Caverion's workforce in the Stavanger region will increase to approximately 215 employees. Both Caverion and Simex Klima & Kulde have previously collaborated.
