Caverion CEO to change; Board Chairman appointed interim CEO

Caverion Corporation announced a change in its leadership as President and CEO Ari Lehtoranta departs from his role, effective immediately, following a mutual agreement with the company's Board of Directors. Mats Paulsson, currently Chairman of the Board, will serve as interim President and CEO while a search for a permanent successor is underway.

Lehtoranta has led Caverion since January 2017. He will remain available to the Board for the next six months to ensure a smooth transition. The company stated that the decision for change comes as Caverion enters a new phase, with both the Board and Lehtoranta agreeing on the timing.

"On behalf of the Board of Directors, we want to thank Ari for his extremely valuable contribution, hard work and determination during the journey of turning around the Company," stated Mats Paulsson. He added that under Lehtoranta's leadership, Caverion has responded to significant challenges and implemented necessary fundamental changes.

Lehtoranta expressed that his four years at Caverion were rewarding despite the tough decisions required for the turnaround. "Caverion is now on a stable footing and has a great future ahead of it," he commented, thanking his colleagues and the Board for their trust and cooperation.
